Today at 7:30am John and I headed out for a date day! We started our day with a starbucks from mom, a full tank of gas, snacks, and a mysterious envelope from GG-ma and GG-pa that said "DO NOT open until the best road trip ever is well underway"... best start to a road trip ever!
We drove down to Canmore and started with breakfast out on the patio and then an hour massage...it was great! Then we went into Banff for lunch and a quick shop, and then went out to Rafter Six to go whitewater rafting. Neither of us had ever gone before and we had a blast! By the time we got back from rafting we were SOAKED! We will definitely be going again!
On the drive home we stopped at Crossiron mills, had supper and checked The Children's Place...we got some summer stuff for next year and with the extra 30% off ended up saving $305...I LOVE getting a good deal :)
We got home, snuggled our little dudes and are now ready to go to bed...BEST ROAD TRIP EVER!!!
