Snacktime!

This afternoon when I gave the boys their snack, they all ran and sat down by the door, even Bones joined them.  So cute! They sat there and just laughed and laughed!  Totally made my day!

Today I made the boys some "dunkaroos"...animal crackers and icing...mmmm

The boys started off doing SO good.  They would dip their cracker in and then take a bite.

I went to grab the camera (about 2 steps away) and when I got back the had progressed into dipping their cracker and licking the icing off...

The boys were hogging all the animal crackers so I dipped my finger into the icing {terrible I know!}.  As soon as they saw me do that they ditched their crackers and went straight to finger/fist dipping!

BIG BOY BED UPDATE

-the boys are still taking longer than usual to fall asleep at bedtime, but they are sleeping right through the night in their beds!  WHOO HOO!!!

-today the boys had their first totally successful nap in their beds, it only took them 20 minutes to fall asleep (this was typical for their cribs), and then they slept for about 2 hours!!!  Hopefully they can stick to this :)

Messy Little Men

Lately we have been trying to let the boys eat with their own cutlery lately...it is exhausting how messy it is!  And although they are getting way better at using their forks and spoons, this is the mess that was left behind the other night... 

luckily we have our small brown dog to help us clean up!!!

For supper...

Last night for supper we had pizza...they boys quite enjoyed peeking in at it cooking...

 After we ate our pepperoni pizza I looked over and saw the dino eating a leaf of lettuce...if I remember right the long necks are vegetarians, the boys know this already without even watching the land before time!! hahaha 

Snowy Saturday

We had a VERY snowy day here in "the deer".  I think the boys may have even said snow a few times today!  To fight off the cold we started our morning with some waffles.

 We spent most of our day inside, and finished off with a nice warm bath before bed.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from the bath!

3 more sleeps until Christmas!

It is a late post tonight because my sister and I just finished watching one of our Christmas classics...Little Women, John was thankful that he had hockey tonight!  Anyways because it is so late and there are quite a few pictures I am not going to write about all of them...I will just tell you that today's activity was to have a santa cookie! mmmmm...santa cookies! (and if the boys look more stunned than anything it is because they have had bites of treats but have never just been handed an entire cookie!)

Our activity for today was to make paper snowflakes...but since this was more for me than the boys we decided to do glitter pedicures instead (by we I mean me, my sister, and my friend Erin).  The Pedicures turned out awesomely festive, but I figured you would all rather see pictures of the boys than our feet!

The boys decided today that they would like to start feeding themselves with spoons.  They refused to eat from the spoon that I had so I let them do it themselves.  So freaking funny!
