Take me out to the ball game...

Saturday was a fun filled day for the fab four and five alive! We started off our day with a tour of Seattle on one of the "Ducks". The tour was a ton of fun, music pumping, people dancing, and a very fun transition from land to water...that's right it drove right into the water and became a boat!
Here are all 9 of us packed into two seats! One of the cool things that we saw on the water part of the tour was the house that they used for Sleepless in Seattle!
The boat used for Pirates of the Caribbean!
Another neat thing that we saw was the buliding that they used for the outside shots of Grey's Anatomy. You have all heard of McDreamy and McSteamy...but have you heard of McScreamy??? Because we had three of them at one point of the trip!!!
Out on the Water
Captain Matthew
Captain Nathan
Captain Lucas (trying to read the manual so he can figure out how to drive the duck himself! hahaha)
After our duck ride was over we grabbed some lunch and had a picnic at the bottom of the space needle.
Here is Daddy and Matty
Daddy and Lucas
Daddy and Nathan (this is a great optical illusion because he was not actually 1/4 of the way up the space needle)
In Seattle 1% of bulding costs has to be spent on public art, such a fun idea because it is really fun to see all of the sculptures around the city. Here we are posed in one that is at the bottom of the space needleƩ
After Lunch at the space needle we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the Mariners game. Here are the two proud papas pushing the strollers to the game.
Mel, Adam and Johnny enjoying a ball park hotdog!
Me and my boys at the game
The Roths
Daddy holding two of his boys (and if you look close you can see the third in the front seat of the stroller behind the gate)
Here we all are at the game! We were one seat short of filling up our entire row!
Safeco field had an AWESOME play park for the kids. John and I found a spot in the back where we could feed the fellas!
One lap around safeco and Nathan was asleep, he slept in the stroller through all the cheers and boos!
Lucas and Matthew took 2 laps to fall asleep but then were out like rocks!

Bottom of the seventh and it is the first pitch that we actually get to watch!!! hahaha
The boys were awesome at the game. We ended up leaving during the bottom of the eighth...Mariners were down one nothing. As we were making our way out of the stadium we heard a GIGANTIC cheer and when we looked to see what happened they had just hit a GRAND SLAM!!!
Since it was our lsat night in the hotel I thought that I should take a picture of the boys in their pea pods. So here they are, the blanket was just over top to keep all the light off until we were ready to go to bed. (and John sleeps in a bed, he was just kissing Nathan goodnight)

We left Seattle Sunday morning and made it home by 10:30! We had an AWESOME time on the holiday but we are all happy to be home!

Look out Seattle HERE WE COME!!!!

We started off our day a little early today...5:45 yuck! We had some time to kill so we made a pillow pit in our room, the boys LOVED it!!!We got all packed up and headed into Seattle...it was the first time since we have been here that we actually made it into the city of Seattle! Our first stop was the first EVER Starbucks!!! Mel and I went inside to get the drinks and when we went outside John and the fellas had an audience! We took advantage and asked if one of them would take a picture of the 9 of us. Did we ever luck out, one of them was a photographer so she took the picture, and then a couple of them acted as traffic control and blocked off the sidewalks so we could get a good shot!!!
The 9 of us!
Then one of the "audience" members suggested that we flip around and get a group shot in front of the market sign!
We walked into the market to the famous Pike Place Fish Market. It was super crowded but we did manage to see a little fish tossing!
We hit up RR again for our lunch today and then walked back through the market. We got seperated from the Roths for a little bit but thanks to the walkie talkies we made a quick reconnection!!! I could probably do an entire post on all of our walkie talkie-ing but I will just let you know the most important thing...our handles! We decided to give each other names so the Roth's are the fab four and me and my four fellas are five alive! We have used the walkie talkies non-stop while driving around...they have made the driving time a lot of fun!
Here is fab four trying to get ahold of five alive...
A successful reconnection!!
Cooling off in the fountain...
entertaining the boy...I felt the need to get right in the fountain and it was only 32...thank goodness we did not come across a fountain yesterday hahaha!
Nate fell asleep on the walk back to the car. I have said it once and I will say it again...sleeping babies are SO CUTE!!!
Adam and John went to the baseball game tonight so Mel and I took a walk over to Whole Foods (super cool grocery store) to get some supper and then hung out at the hotel. Bennett was wrapping up each of the boys in his blanket and rocking/snuggling them and singing them a lullaby...SO FREAKING CUTE!!!
Luc loving his snuggle
Nate was a little harder to catch!
Matthew a little unsure about what is happening!!!
the day came full circle and we finished our night with a little more pillow pit time :)

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

Our main activity for our second day in "Seattle" was the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. It was a little loud while we were getting ready so we put an episode of GLEE on and it was a total kid magnet/mute button! I kind of wish this was a video because they were all dancing too! SO FUNNY!!!We finally made it to the zoo after a couple of GPS recalculations! Here are the boys pumping up the tires in the strollers!
When we got in the first thing we did was the aquarium. ALL FIVE boys LOVED these fish!!!
Nate could not get enough :)
Here is Daddy and Lucas checking out some of the animals.
Notice anything funny about this picture???
There is the missing baby!!!
Since it was SO HOT out we got some ice cream for the boys. We were in the polar bear area and there was a man doing a talk on some interesting polar bear facts. Even though he had a speaker on I doubt that anyone could hear him because whatever babies did not have the spoon in their mouth were SCREAMING!!! I could not get that spoon around fast enough. Needless to say we left pretty soon after this!
After the zoo we stopped at a little fish and chips/burger shack on the beach...yum yum yum! Here is John feeding the boys some snacks while we were waiting for our lunch.
Tailgate party!

After our lunch we headed to the Seattle premium outlets. It was way too hot (38 degrees) for the babies...and most of the adults too. I ended up bringing our fellas back to our air conditioned hotel early and then Mel and I went back to do a little baby free shopping after supper!

And did I mention how H.O.T. it was???

Just One...

well I guess not just one! The internet in our hotel is CRAZY slow, and I am CRAZY tired but I just wanted to post this picture of our pictures. We went to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium today and we stuffed our family of five into the photo booth, and I LOVE the pictures we got...and it gave us two of the exact same photo strip, and it just seemed to focus better with both in the picture! We are headed into downtown Seattle tomorrow, and hopefully I will start blogging a little earlier and will have more patience which will result in more pictures!!!

We Made it!!!

Today was another travel day. After a quick stop at McDs we departed Kelowna just beofre 8am. Here is John double fisting his breakfast (don't worry we are at a stop light). The kids were all WONDERFUL travellers. We had probably one minute of fussing the entire drive. While the boys were asleep we changed to a coldplay cd for a little bit and when they woke up they were not huge fans, we switched to GLEE and they instantly went quiet.
I took this picture while we were driving because John said that it looked like the twilight movies so we kept an eye out for vampires and warewolves...unfortunately we did not see any!
We made it all the way from Kelowna to Burlington without a single stop, like I mentioned earlier the boys were all total rockstars!!! We had lunch and then browsed the outlets, John found some deals!!! Here are the fellas (even though you can only see 2 they are all in fact in there!) while we were browsing the outlets.
Adam also found a good deal on some new sandals...here he is destroying his old ones...he was not a huge fan!!!
John and Adam took the boys back to the vehicles to load them up while Mel and I got a few more minutes of shopping...thanks boys!
With two successful travel days the adults needed to celebrate. And $13.99 for a 12 pack, who could resist!
Cheers!!!
We babyproofed the hotel room and played for a bit. It was weird because even though we were with the boys all day they were in their carseats, and when we got them out I just wanted to cuddle them all non-stop, I missed them a ton! After playing we took a "leisurely" walk to find a place to eat...this hill was MUCH steeper in person, I am sure we all may be a little stiff tomorrow!
The Roths headed to the park to play and John and the boys and I went to Red Robin!!!! Oh how we LOVE it there! We had the BEST service, and the BEST food that we have had in a long time! It was the first time we have ever ordered the boys their own meal! Macaroni and cheese :) Here are my 4 boys and I!
On our way home we had a Jamba Juice...pretty much the same as a booster juice, but Jamba Juice just sounds like so much more fun! And the name of our drink was the Strawberry surf rider, also fun!
When we got back to the hotel we fed the boys and put them into their pea pods. There was NO crying tonight, just giggling and babling until they fell asleep...I LOVE IT!!!
