2 more sleeps until Christmas!

Tonight we went out on our twinkle tour!  After supper we got the boys into their pjs and headed out on the search for impressive Christmas light displays. (if you are sick of pictures of babies being cute in carseats, or having their starbucks in their carseats you might as well stop here!)

Here are the boys ready to head out!
Matty loving his blankie
 Nate loving his thumb
and Luc loving a little tail!
This is one of the good houses...doesn't it look mystical through the "fog" hahaha!
the other good house....that's right we only found two good houses!
We also stopped for hot chocolates/empty cups while we were out and about!
Nathan and his cup
 Matthew and his
 Lucas and his
 Daddy and his
 Mommy and hers!
Although we did not find many elaborate houses, I would consider this year a success compared to last year...if you can't remember why click here to find out!

19 more sleeps until Christmas!

Our activity for today was to go and get a hot chocolate (this one as more for John and I than the boys!).

Here are some pictures of the fellas with their hot chocolates (and by hot chocolates I mean empty cups!)
Matthew reading the info on the side of his cup.
 Nathan getting right to buisness!
 hmmmm...there is nothing in there!
Lucas trying to drink it from the top side of the cup...maybe he was trying to get rid of hiccups or something.
 Loving his cup!
I just had to post this one because it is so cute!
Matthew with the lid off, chewing away on the edge of the cup
The boys and their pup...and cups!
Lucas saw Matthew take the lid off of his cup, so he figured he would try too!
 Monkey see, monkey do!
 Our little Lizard
 Nathan looking a little sad...
Probably because his brother just stole his cup!
 Playing with the cups!
 All three fellas
 2 cups for Lucas
I was looking around for Matthew's cup and couldn't see it anywhere...then I noticed that Lucas had 2 stacked!  What a trickster!
Happy to have it back...still bothered by the fact that there was nothing in it!
Nathan getting some snuggles from Daddy

15 minutes later and they were still playing with these cups!  We may have to ask for some empties more often :)

Chapters!

Sorry for the delay in blog posting...the internet was down...I was going CRAZY!!!
Today Mom, Kels and I took the boys to Starbucks and Chapters. The boys were SO funny running around looking at the books, the stuffed animals, the trains...and the jewlery (unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the last one!)
Here are the fellas in their flood pants checking out some books with Grammy. I am not quite sure how their pants got pushed so far up!Nathan loving a straw!
Can you tell what book Lucas found....GRUMPY BIRD!!! It is one of their favorites at home...we actually have two copies because one has been worn into 10 pieces!
Checking out some stuff!
This was the other book that the boys took intrest in...kind of fitting for a triplet!
2 more sleeps until Daddy gets home, we can't wait!

18 more sleeps until Christmas!

After the last two days of not getting to the envelope until late I thought to myself that we would open today's first thing in the morning...but then John could not sleep last night so he slept in this morning...when he got up we got busy all of a sudden and then when things calmed down I had a nap...then we ate and before we knew it it was already 8:00, man does time ever fly! ...tomorrow we will do it earlier hahaha! Today's task:go to starbucks and get a hot chocolate!
So we loaded them all up...here is our little Nathan
Our little Lucas

and our little Matthew

all loaded up ready to go...except Bones can not seem to find her spot since my gym bag is on her bed, she was less than impressed!
Since it has gotten so cold outside to start this week it was quite an ordeal to get ready to go! To get the boys loaded we had to back the vehicle out of the garage and turn it on so that the inside would heat up a bit. Then we loaded the boys in their carseats...bear suits, touques, blankets and carseat snugglers. Then we re-opened the garage, pulled the vehicle back in and loaded the boys into the car...and then finally we were off! This is the coldest it has been that we have had the boys out so I was kind of nervous that they would be cold...but even though it dipped to -32 while we were out and about, when we got home and unloaded them they were all super warm! Way to go Old Navy bear suits!
Johnny enjoying his hot chocolate!
me loving mine!

I just had to put this picture up...John read the boys a story before bed tonight and they LOVED it! So CUTE!!!
