New Friends and Great Friends

One of the best parts about the holidays is getting to spend so much time with family and friends. Today the boys got to meet a new friend, little miss Avery Rene Kawahara (I have been waiting for a time to use pink!!!). Today was her 4 week birthday and we were all glad that we got the chance to finally meet her. Lucas was a little fussy while she was here...maybe because it was the first time that there has been someone smaller than him in the same room! Anyways here are some pictures of Miki and Tricia's beautiful baby girl and our handsome little boys!Nathan and Avery...it kind of looks like they are holding hands in this picture!

Tonight Adam and Mel and Amber came over to stay with the boys while John and I went out for supper! What a treat. We are pretty lucky about being able to get out to get stuff done but it seems like we always have a list with 20 things to do and we get through about 10 so there is no time for much other than errands! Tonight we went out for a nice supper and then a quick Costco run (might as well get one of the errands done when we can!). It was the weirdest feeling to sit at the restauraunt and wait for our meals...neither of us could think of the last time that we have sat with nothing to do...it actually made me feel a little uneasy!!!
